
The "Auto-Moto Club des Hauts-pays" was created in the beginning of the 60th's by a couple of volunteers who desired to create a sport event in the surroundings of Roisin.
They started by organizing competitions for 50cc, and quickly came the 125, 250 and 500 class accompanied by international pilots.
In 1980, under the presidency of Mr Claude DENIS, the "AUto-Moto Club des Hauts-pays" got the organisation of a race of the world championship in 125cc and 250 class.
The top of the bill was in 1983 when the "Motocross of Nations" taked place on the ground of "Angreau" with more than 10.000 spectators.
In 1990, a second organisation with smaller ambitions was born organizing local competions for young motocrossmen from the surroundings.
Later, both organisations, decided to merge in order to create the "Motocross Club des Hauts-Pays".
Today, The "Motocross Club des Hauts-Pays" is based on the following structure:
